How can I get rid of a wet cough after a terrible flu?(natural remedies please!)?

It's so annoying! I had a terrible flu and now I have had this mocus cough for over a week...it is so discusting! Please help me!

Drink some hot tea with a little sugar & honey. You could also try this little trick that is used for runny noses. Boil some water. Just as it starts to bubble, pour it into a pour. Grab a towel. Lean over the bowl & cover your head & the bowl. Breathe in the steam for about 15 mins. Worked like a charm for me!
u can drink some hot tea
Easy answer from experience..just cough that mucus out (over a sink please!) You will heal up a lot faster once the body gets rid of that junk (which is why you cough in the first place..)
Try an herbal expectorant by NatureAde. It has guaifenesin as an active ingredient and will make you cough up all that phlegm ASAP. It is cherry flavor and under $10. Try it it works!
The least expensive way to get rid of the snot in your lungs is to drink lots of water. Drinking large amounts of water, and I mean a lot, will thin out the snot and make it easier to cough up.

This method works even better when you start drinking large amounts of water at the first sign of illness. Doing so in advance will make all of the symptoms less intense, especially with the snot and muccous.
