Can Air Pressure Affect GERD?

I didn't know whether to ask this in Health or Physics lol!

I used to live close to sea level +/- 75m. I'm now loving at +/-670m. I have also moved from living by the Great Lakes to living in the moisture deprived Canadian Prairies.

Can the lower air pressure make GERD worse as there is less atmosphere pushing down?

I know, its an odd qustion....

Yes, it will affect the Reflux, however, the amount of change is low and will not affect it much. the moisture change will affect it more then the pressure.

It is theoretically possible.
