My 7 month old son has GERD(acid reflux). What foods should I avoid feeding him that might aggravate his reflu |
i heard apple juice is high in acid but what else should i avoid just give him Prilosec OTC my little brother has it, also, Actually, *apple cider vinegar* is an excellent GERD remedy ... you'll find lots about this online, and it can be mixed with apple juice for him. Avoid tomatoes .... they're surprisingly aggravating. If he likes ginger, that's another excellent curative option; a honey and ginger drink fixes it for me every time; I'm totally off meds now because of it. Good luck! I would suggest you go to www.webmd.com for that answer and not this forum. Do the symptom checker and make sure you input the information for your son. i think avoiding any type of acidic juices and fruits would probably help in preventing a flare up...
