thnaks for the first answer yes i have made lots of diet changes even tho i was not overweight and always ate healthy things but thank you!

I hope this helps. A lot of problems come from how/what we eat and combine our foods together. Let me explain.

It was the first time I cooked dinner for my then-boyfriend. I didn鈥檛 know it back then, but my own cure began with a question from this man who would later become my husband(Mike)

Shortly after we met, I made dinner for him and he asked if it would be alright if he didn't eat one of the foods I had prepared. He said it all looked wonderful, but that the combination would give him a stomach ache. I didn't know what he meant, since nothing was fried and no hot spices were used.

It was then that he asked me the question that literally changed my life forever!

Mike asked me, 鈥淗ave you heard of food combining?鈥?

My immediate answer was "no" I hadn't heard of it. Even though it wasn't anything new, and had been endorsed by many health experts, peak performance experts and celebrities and more - I really had never heard of FOOD COMBINING.

After hearing about how "mis-combining" leads to acidosis, acid-reflux, heartburn and a host of other digestive problems, I had my first "properly combined" meal...

And I HAD ABSOLUTELY NO SYMPTOMS WHATSOEVER!

NO PAIN! NOTHING!

That鈥檚 right...

NO cramps
NO bloated stomach
NO excessive gas
NO 鈥業BS鈥?br> NO acid reflux
NO constipation
NO running to the bathroom
NO horrendous pain

Can you imagine how relieved I felt after all those years? If you have ever suffered any of these symptoms, even mildly, you will understand why I was wild with joy!

Have your parents take you to the doctor and get on the
"purple pill." It works well for me.
Other hints. Don't eat just before going to bed.
And, when you do eat your meals, don't go lay down
"afterwords."
Getting acid reflux need to be taken care of, because it can
lead to Cancer of the "esophagus." Seriously. <}:-{(

Yellow there. Hmm..acid reflux eh? Well, I am known to be Queen of Bloated, because I am so easily bloated when there's no food in my stomach for more than 2 hours. Trust me, it's nauseating, ruins my day and just annoying. What I do is drink cinnamon tea. PUt about 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon powder and about 1 teaspoon of honey into a mug, then pour in hot water. It works verrry well for me. Hope this helps even for your acid reflux :]

I have acid reflux, too, and it makes me completely miserable, so I understand what you're going through. I went to the GI doctor yesterday and he prescribed me Protonix. I am waiting to see if it works. Maybe you should go to a specialist and find a medication that works. Good luck!

If you are overweight, lose weight, stop eating fast food and processed snacks and eat fresh vegetables and fruits...no more soft drinks...and take ginger capsules to settle your stomach until you do these other things...

I have had acid reflux from a hiatel hernia for over 20 years now. I currently get very effective relief from Prilosec OTC. Nexium was also very effective. When it first happened I took over-the-counter antacids by the handful, but that's not the right thing to do to treat acid reflux. If I don't take my medication, I can't even eat a cracker without it bothering me. Since I take the medication I don't have problems with what I eat. I do suffer if I eat before I go to bed. Good luck, please see if these medicines will work for you.

If the Ginger works keep with it. Alot of cultures believe that certain roots (like ginger) have medicinal purposes. Ginger is supposed to help with stomach, just as cheyenne (hot peppers) are blood purifiers. There are many other kinds of spices and roots that are said to help specific areas of the body.
My daughter has reflux and has had it since she was 3 months old, she is now 12. Certain anti-acid medications (even some prescription medications) did not help her at all, in fact they made it worse. She takes Zantac now and has no problems. She also has allergies which make her reflux problems worse. If you have allergies and/or asthma ask your mother to tell your allergy/asthma doctor about this and they can help you as well.
