Gerd/Hiatal throat pain! help?

I've had acid reflux for a little over a year now.. been to several doctors, the ER, specialists, etc. Nothing helps! I was scheduled for the surgery(nissen fundoplication (sp?)) but since I'm only 16 my doctor thought it was a little soon. I'm being sent for a second opinion in august, but i don't think i can wait that long! my doctor gave me pain medicines, doesn't help. i get terrible throat pain(constant) this pain is burning but also feels like someone is sawwing away at my throat-terrible! i can barely swallow, when i do i get a lump feeling. i've lost 20 pounds in the past two months. with this, i haven't gotten a lot of nutrition, so i'm very pale. I'm starting to bruise easily and sometimes my knees become so weak. I have a diarhea/nausea type feeling. Anybody have severe reflux and get this terrible throat pain/clogging?

yes, i've tried prevacid. i'm not on nexium. nothing is working.

I hope this helps. A lot of problems come from how/what we eat and combine our foods together. Let me explain.

It was the first time I cooked dinner for my then-boyfriend. I didn鈥檛 know it back then, but my own cure began with a question from this man who would later become my husband(Mike)

Shortly after we met, I made dinner for him and he asked if it would be alright if he didn't eat one of the foods I had prepared. NO constipation
NO running to the bathroom
NO horrendous pain

Can you imagine how relieved I felt after all those years? If you have ever suffered any of these symptoms, even mildly, you will understand why I was wild with joy!

Oh my goodness! I have acid reflux as well..but not this bad. My dr prescribed me prevacid, have you tried that? Good luck!
