go to the hospital ER,when the pain is so bad:percocet or percodan will help and there are other meds to slow down bowel contractions:I take Bentylol
It will make you very sleepy,cant drive cant do anything.
For bad diarrhoea i take Imodium,works almost right away.
Try to avoid foods that trigger IBS attacks:dairy(yogurt does NOT help)
no fried foods,no fast foods,eat mainly boiled/steamed things.

Hey, first of all u need to find out the underlying cause of your problem by consulting the doctor and a dietitian.

May be this would be due to stress, unhealthy dietary patterns. So make sure u strike a right balance between the 2 (Diet + Stress management).
