I went to the doc the other day complaing of upper back pain and spasms, and he told me it was Gerd (acid reflux). I've never heard of symptoms like that before. Anyone else ever experience symptoms of this nature with Gerd? I'm thinking about getting a second opinion. I have had reflux problems before but never with any muscle spasms.
I'm going thru the same thing, I hurt just above my breast bone and it goes all the way thru to my back between the shoulder blades. I have reflux and sliding hiatal hernia and having a real bad flare up right now. I hurt so bad sometime I'm think I'm having a heart attack.
Yes! Conditions like gerd have been statistically correlated to other symptoms like Arthritis over time.
