Can having gerd disease cause u to have a lump in throat,everytime u swallow?is it acid reflux?

Acid reflux can be very painful and uncomfortable. I don' t know about the lump in the throat, but I do know that you will feel pain in your upper abdomen. You can also have nausea, vomiting and diarrhea. Check with your physician about lump in the throat.

Not sure about the lump in the throat, but yes it is acid reflux. Have acid reflux does not necessarily indicate an ongoing illnes, as acid reflux can be controlled or stopped altogether....

If you smoke, smoke a lot less, cut back on alcohol, and do not eat in last 2 - 3 hours before sleeping. Milk can make it worse instead of nutralising it as can a lot of dairy products, but different things can trigger it in different people.

Up util 2 years ago I would get reflux every few weeks, not had any since then, by doing the above. I also drink coffee only in the mornings, and drink herbal teas with ginger in late at night. Ginger is very good for acid reflux, so drink it in tea, eat it in biscuits or cakes.

Oh, and cut down on stress factors as this can contribute too.
