Throbbing stomache pain is GERD?

I was wondering if anyone else has bad stomach pain when they try to run or dance or do any movement that requires more energy than walking. It's like a strange, throbbing, muscle ache. I have GERD but I haven't been diagnosed with anything else. I find that I do not get enough help by doctors. Could this pain be a hiatal hernia? I have no idea. Also, could this stomach pain go away after surgery to remove GERD?...help! thanks...

Go see a doctor as soon as possible for a diagnosis.

I don't think it is a hiatal hernia. It's likely something else. I have a hiatal hernia and have never had that ache you describe. A hiatal hernia is where part of your stomach extends above your diaphram and you can have problems when/after eating or drinking; not from exercise. You would feel something more like heartburn, not a muscle ache in your stomach.

Get yourself checked to find out what is causing the pain.in some cases antibiotics can cure gurd. Always talk to your doctor because tests are required to determine the proper course of action be it medication or surgery:-)
What's GERD?
Take prilosec for 2 weeks. If it still hurts find a doctor and get a upper and lower GI. Could be lots of stuff. Gallbladder, hernia etc etc. Change diet and exercise also.
