What are the best daily food diet for a GERD patient? |
best thing to do with a GERD patient,and some alternative rhings than having surgery low fat, low calorie foods. Try to eat more protein than fats, nothing spicy or fried, tomatoes and other acidy foods are normally bad. Instead of surgery you can take pills, (previcid types) but, from experience they can become like your new found religion. It helps if you do small things, like not eating until your full, just until you've "had enough", and not eating 3 hours before sleeping, (with gerd the food and stomach acid comes up and eats your esophagus. You might have noticed a bad taste in your mouth in the morning). But if you keep a strict diet, and don't push the limits, while taking your medicine, it's not all that bad.... (forget eating how you used to, it's gonna be hard, but worth it.) |
