Probably. Dr. visit first choice, Prilosec OTC 20 mg. (that would be two capsules) once daily, they last for 24 hours & you should get relief in 2-3 days. If you have insurance or the money, the Dr. could give you a proper diagnosis, maybe some free samples. A pharmacy copay would save you money and generic omeprazole comes in 20 mg. capsules, the Dr. might put you on Nexium, etc.for better resullts. The OTC Prilosec are expensive!
what is GERD? over lifting or exerting yourself can make your chest hurt. or if you have torn the tissue holding your sternum to your rib cage.

go get it checked,i was the same and doc sent me to hospital to get check .i turned out to be an infection in my chest,so go the doc tomorrow good luck
