Genetic testing..?

do you think someone who has a genetic disorder.. has the right to be able to decide if their children should or should not have their diease.. ie by either doing prental testing.. and aborting any fetus that have the diease...
or .. use the petri dish method.. and only put un affected eggs and sperms together..

I think it is very right for the parents to be able to decide. I have heard lots of nonsense about how it denigrates disability and is playing God, but in real life a child with a disability suffers in many ways, not just physically. I am blessed with 2 healthy children, one of whom has hearing problems. Would I have aborted her if I had known, NO of course not! But if I had been told she was going to be severly affected by a condition such as cystic fibrosis I would have seriously considered termination. I dont know that I would have been able to do it but thats another matter!
I think the Petri dish method is much more useful and less stressful to parents, its almost gaurantees healthy babies (although it still has a way to go)....;
