Do you have genital warts or herpes? how often do you get outbreaks?

how do the warts or herpes form? do they ever feel hard under the suface before they protrude out/?

I have herpes.

I get several outbreaks a year. Sometimes they feel hard and a bit itchy, just like an insect bite, but on the whole a genital outbreak for me looks exactly the same as these:

and generally last 3 days before it is completely healed.

How often you get an outbreak varies from person to person. I am lucky enough to only get an outbreak once a year or so, Sometimes I go a year with none at all but that is rare. Some people get it every month, there is no real way to tell how often you will have outbreaks. As far as how they feel under the skin before they come out? I have never expierenced that before or heard an answer for that question before, I normally get a sign that an outbreak is coming like a tingling sensation in my body in the area where the outbreak is about to happen or a severe headache.... I rarely if ever have those (headaches). Have you been to the doc to be sure it's hepes? The best way to tell is from a swab culture during an ob or a blood test for herpes. I have outbreaks every few months. They can last a week or longer. They start out as a small reddish rash on the first day then develop into a blister that's close to resembling a zit at first but by day 2 you can see its a clear filled blister. For me they don't really ever hurt they just itch a lot.
