Is this genital herpes?

I have been looking online for hours now to see if I could find an answer. I had sex 20 days ago. The condom came off. After noticing this, I hastenly took a shower. To clean myself off. Now, 4 days ago, I notice sores on my penis. A days proir to this I masturbated alot - I mean alot. Now, today the sores are gone. I experience none of the symtoms that were decribed銆€online. Only thing were the sores. Now they are gone. The foreskin has been healing for two days now.

So, do you think this is herpes or some sort of fungus I gave myself with something dirty?

Go get tested because it is liable to be anything from what everyone on here is telling you. Not trying to scare you, but men usually don't get symptoms and not fully aware of what they have because it is so easy for them to look and tell what they "down there" looks like. But for females, we can't tell because it could be inside of us .. So, I feel if you notice any bump, sore, blister, cut anywhere on your penis.. go to the hospital and get a full blood stds and sti's testing! Also, they are tests at most "insured" hospitals like kaiser that can give you a herpes type 1 and type 2 blood test to determine whether you have antibodies of it. However, it could take 2 weeks to 3 months to get actual test results. It is better to find out now and try to abstain from sex for like a month or two or try to keep the condom on at all times but the n again.. the sores not covered by the condom can spread on the girl..

always get tested.. always wear condoms.. i may had been exposed bc i was taken advantage of ..and i cant help but to feel so worried for myself with no signs especially cuz im a girl cant see wut the eff is going on down there for me.. so i got a blood test done fo everything.. so people who just arent being careful with their partners and life is just asking for it.. i was hurt and always got tested before all this shyt happened to me bc the dude hurt me. GET TESTED ASAP!

honestly it dosnt sound like herpes and i dont think you need to worry about it UNLESS it comes back....scrubbing your penis in the shower did not help... its a sensative area and soap and excessive high water pressure does cause sores.. my doctor told me this

yes it is most likely that!!! sumtimes the symtoms go away for a while i reccomend go to the doctor and get a check up to see if it is!!! good luck

You definitely should go see a doctor, the local department of health will do an STD test for herpes and a number of other diseases, plus it's income based. You should get tested after each partner, so as not to put your own health at risk or put other's at risk.

I'm sorry man. It's herpes. I had the exact same thing. The sores go away, but then they come back.

Herpes tends to appear around the base of the penis, sort of along the line of the hair where it joins the bare skin of the organ...also under the hair. It is hard raised red lumps, about the size of a 5 pence (dime) with dotted white blisters all over the surfaces. The blisters contain fluid with the virus. I'm pretty sure your description doesn't fit herpes.
