Genital Herpes Symptoms? Abdominal Pain & Bump?

Ok, so on the left side of where my vagina is(not on the lips) or inside my vagina, but the skin next to the vagina lips, there is a small bump(raised) the colour of my flesh. Doesn't look like an ingrown hair or pimple. What could this be? I was supposed to go to Planned Parenthood today but my appointment was postponed til tommorow.

THINGS TO CONSIDER:

*I'm having abdominal pain(but have not had my period for two months)

*I HAVE been using protection(condoms) with sex EVEN with oral sex, I don't do anal.

*I have natural hair down there.

*Normal periods.

*I have a slight normalish looking discharge.

*Doesn't hurt to pee.

Anybody know what this could be? Are all bumps near the vagina harmful?

You have a very good description. Without seeing it, my guess is you've got an infected or inflamed hair follicle. Thats a very simple procedure for your GP to check out and cure.

Doesn't sound like herpes at all. keep in mind there is more than one strain of herpes, and it can be extremely contagious but its not really a health problem.

You say you are having normal periods, but no period for two months? What gives?

Just FYI condoms do NOT always protect against herpes or HPV because these are spread by skin to skin contact, and condoms just don't cover all the skin in the groin area that touches while you're having sex. Please make sure your future sexual partners have been tested...

It doesn't sound like herpes to me. I've also been scared I had herpes, but didn't. Turned up to be a pimple. They say the first outbreak you have after contracting herpes will make you sick, almost like you have the flu. You could have it looked at, they'll tell you what it is and what to do for it.
