Where can I find information about genital herpes? |
I am doing a research paper on genital herpes and I need to know the pathophysiology and etiology and things like that. So any ideas on where I can find this information would be helpful! Try the CDC website or WebMD Go to your local pharmacy or doctor' office they usually have pamphlets on STI's i know it might seem strange asking for a pamphlet on genital herpes but at least you will get good info. or yu can try wikipedia it has lots of information on genital herpes. About half that in the US - however genital hsv-1 is much more common than genital hsv-2 - unsurprising given that 80% of UK adults have cold sores - oral hsv-1 on their mouths. I live in the UK... Could be 60 million and 1.... have you had an STD check? Make sure you ask your Doc if you are being tested for herpes, because most of the time they don't test for it unless you are broke out... Your mouth is actually slightly less vulnerable to herpes infection. When exposed to the herpes virus, there is about a 75% chance of contracting it - but the virus needs to be able to enter thr...
