Can you give yourself genital herpes??? help please? |
If u have cancre sores in your mouth & u touch them with your fingers and then touch ur vagina, can you give yourslef gential herpes? Herpes both type I & II are VERY contagious. So I would say that there is a strong possibility that if you touch your mouth in that area and then touch your vagina, it's likely you will spread the infection. But you also need to know that a CANKER sore is totally different from a COLD SORE, which is a form of herpes. yes for sure since that's the ideal way for spreading infection but at certain stage of illness. Short answer - yes, it will transfer. It's also possible to transfer by towel, so if you have an oral outbreak, don't use your shower towel to wipe around your face, then your genitals...you could transfer the virus that way. The Herpes virus can live on a towel for brief periods, too, so it's important not to use it around your outbreak areas first, or at all. Yes you can transfer HSV one and two just the same. You should always practice good hand washing practices and be careful of what you touch.... Once you have transferred HSV to the genital area it turns to HSV two and you can not get rid of it like you can a cold sore... So be smart and be safe. A canker sore is a form of herpes, but it is not on the same level as genital herpes, so I woould say no. My question is, if you have any infection, why would you be touching your mouth and then your vagina, that sounds silly in itself. Try it & find out (& you can advise us all!) yes keep it up |
