I really like a guy, but he has genital herpes. please help!? |
He's a great guy, i adore him. He told me after a 2 months of getting to know him. i still like him, but i cannot deal with the herpes situation. i want to get away from him, but i feel guilty about it. i'm going to stop picking up his calls, am i messed up? I've been honest about the way i feel about things. Why aren't you answering his calls? If your'e not having sex with him, there is no way to pick up his genital herpes, so what are you worried about? Sure, you might get it from him if you kissed them after he sucked at his crotch, but why would anybody want to do that? there are worse things you could deal with. like ex's drugs, kids, alcohol, etc. but if this is such a thing you cant deal with...first look up the disease and information about it. then, tell him you researched it and made a decision you dont want to deal with it. it is a weird disease cuz its easily passed. some people never experience a breakout, some never pass it to their partners, some have occassional breakouts. but, to just stop 'picking up his calls'? he's not a maniacal leper lol but, yes you should break up with him. If you don't want to be with him because of this you need to be straight with him and just tell him. I am sure it was really hard for him to tell you about the herpes the least you could do is be honest back and tell him you just can't handle it. Stay as a friend, don't have sex with him. You can't get them, if you don't. You are just not being irrational atm. You will calm down and accept that part of him. uh..i completely understand and so will your friends. Its unfourtunate that you have to stop contact with him but it's not worth you getting that. You could be with him and not have sex. The way God and any good Christian would want it. Umm...just don't have sex with him! |
