Does genital warts and herpes mean the same?

Does genital warts and herpes mean the same?

Nope - similarity is that they are both INcurable....

Genital warts are HPV...and they are warts - they start small & grow a bit - then just sit there...cause very little to no pain, there are no recurrances - you can have them frozen off (at Dr's office) but they do ocassionally come back.
They are contagious - at all times & hard to cover during sex - since they are not usually in an area that is covered by a condom

There are 2 types - oral and genital
-Oral herpes can be caught NON-sexually pretty easily - and prefers to live on the face area - usually the mouth but can attach to your nose or eyes. It causes cold sores on the mouth which can be transmitted to someone else by kissing, oral sex OR sharing make-up very easily!!!
-Genital herpes attaches to the southern region - usually ON the genitals. I've also heard of it being on the BACK or thighs. It's contracted by sex (oral, anal or regular sex). SOME cases of contracting it from sharing wet towels and washcloths with someone with an open outbreak.

FYI - condoms only cover the penis shaft and the inner walls of the vagina - so if the herpes sore is anywhere else (which it usually is!!) like on a scrotum, thighs or pu$$y lips - you can still catch it!
The oral type looks like cold sores - they tingle, itch, scab & then go away. The genital type tingles, itches, then looks like a cluster of small white blisters - until they break - then it looks like open ulcers that scab up & go away.
People with herpes are contagious from the very 1st tingle or ITCH until the scabs fall off & they have new skin again.
Most people contract herpes in the "tingling & itching" stage because sometimes it's hard to spot until you actually see sores!

No.
