How do i know if i have genital herpes? |
i have been married for almost 4 yrs. i have only had 1 sexual partner before i got married. he cheated on me. my husband now hasn't cheated on me ( at least i'm pretty sure) and i just recently got all these red bumps like pimples that popped and bled some on the front of my genital area ( where the hair is), they have scabbed over white, and have itched, but not burned. i am just wondering if it is herpes or something else. isn't the only way to get herpes through sexual transmission? how would i have got it just now, if my husband had it before? i have 2 children who are fine and nothing was ever mentioned about herpes when i had them. If your husband has got genital herpes he won't have open, noticible lesions all the time. But he will have herpes the rest of his life and can give the disease to others even sometimes when he is not having a breakout of lesions. It used to be thought that the herpes could only be spread while lesions are active but it now has been found that well over half of the people in the US who have it got, got it from their partner when there was no sign of a breakout. I don't know much about stds I do know that if you think you might have one it would be really wise to go to the gyno. Some std's can prevent you from having children. From what i have heard about herpes it can lie dormant and then pop up. You can have it and have no symptoms and then it just pops up.Or you can have it and never have any symptoms. I don't know what exactly herpes looks like your best bet is to ask a doctor. First off, guys are once a cheater always a cheater I'd check with him to see if there's anything suspicious. Herpes can be transmitted from sitting on a toilet seat of a previous herpes person. Check with a doctor they have a more accurate STD test. Popped and bled? i would go to your doctor andhave yourself tested. then youll know for sure. if you sat on a public toilet,it could happened,oh check if he has any! if he doesnt then it was the toilet! VISIT A DOCTOR. THEY'D KNOW BEST. NOT ANSWERS.YAHOO. You have herpes, but look on the bright side you dont have aids Ask a doctor. go get tested Hi, |
