I want to take a genital herpes test but a health department wont test me!? |
they said I am perfectly normal down there and dont need to be tested for it unless I have an outbreak of sores down in that area. But why cant I be tested tho to ease my mind about this certain sexually transmitted disease?I've gotten tested for c/g,hiv/aids,and hpv.... But I still want to be tested for genital herpes... ? What can I do ??? I want the test done but they wont consider testing me on this? An I heard that some people that has genital herpes dont have any symptoms at all or any signs at that, and dont know they have it and they spread it to there partners.! I dont want to be a partner that spreads a uncurable disease you get my point!!!!.... Herpes is less of a concern to health departments, even though it can infect fetuses and damage or kill the baby. Note that a person who carries herpes type 2 (genital) can shed the virus even when they are not breaking out. |
