Where exactally on a lady's genital area would herpes appear if she had it??

my friend wants to know

HERPES (NOT warts) occurs on mucous membranes, (that is tissue like what is inside your mouth); so inner labia, vagina etc. Not on intact skin. Starts as a tingling, then a blister that erodes into a shallow ulcer.

Genital warts are caused by some of the HPV strands, which you can get a vaccine for now if you do it before you catch them. I found a really good site with a lot of information on them. http://www.avert.org/genital-warts.htm It says they can be found anywhere in the genital area. They can be smooth bumps or look like cauliflower. This site also has some pictures http://www.avert.org/std-pictures.htm please be warned though that due to the nature of the information, they are graphic and a bit disturbing. I hope some of this helps. If she really wants to know if she has them. The best thing for her to do, would be to go to the nearest health clinic and pay a small fee to be tested. In our area it only costs about $10 for a whole screen on STD's.

Herpes doesn't choose a spot to show up. You can also have various symptoms-meaning you may not necessarily have an open sore that shows up on your genitals. Sometimes you experience tingling, burning, bumps (not open), etc. Some people have experienced flu like symptoms before they have an outbreak. Some have aches throughout their legs or back. Everybody reacts differently. YOu also don't always have the same symptoms every time you have an outbreak. The first outbreak is usually the worst. Do research on the net through legitimate sites and you can find lots of information about symptoms.

Symptoms
The signs and symptoms of genital warts include:

Small, flesh-colored or gray swellings in your genital area
Several warts close together that take on a cauliflower shape
Itching or discomfort in your genital area
Bleeding with intercourse

Hi well u tell ur friend that when it appears she will know it as initially the area will become extremely itchy and suffer a burning sensation then blisters appear.
Usually genital area labia ,inner vagina, pubic bone area, buttocks, inner thighs etc..
If ur friend has any of these symptoms she needs to seek medical opinion for treatment OK 鈾?/div>

mine appeared on the inside of my labia when i first got an outbreak 5 years ago. It was just really red and itchy and i thought it was a yeast infection so i went out and bought cream and took flagyl. I made it worse!! Next two days i broke out in blisters and it hurt like heck!! I could barely walk b/c i was in so much pain. I knew right away it was herpes and i got so pissed with my bf who gave it to me who didnt say anything about it!! Now five years later, all i get is a small bump thats tender or itchy near the bottom near the vaginal entrance but to the side. That is it. You cant even tell. Ive never had them on my rectum nor my thighs thank god. I have broken out in a rash as well on my inner thighs from intense biking. The rubbing of the seat and the sweat caused an outbreak which was a rash and they were like little white pimples. They went away within two days and they didnt even hurt. Herpes is wierd! I hate it and wishi never caught it!! Its not a big deal anymore but its annoying.

It could appear on her vagina, buttocks, anus, thighs.

could appear anywhere..On or near the genitals
