Can Genital herpes? |
If you are familiar with my questions/answers then you will know that we just recently took in some of our family that moved in from New York. Our family now consists of 12 people, and it is nothing less than hell in this house. we have 4 bedrooms, and one bathroom. Something I may not have mentioned before is the fact that 2 of these 12 people are under one year of age. It is not passed through casual contact. My daughter has it. Just because one person has it, does NOT mean their partner has it too. My daughter has been married for 10 years and her husband remains herpes free. Her son does not have it either because he was delivered through a cesarian. It is passed by sexual contact. You and your family are perfectly safe. It is not passed by kissing either. Good God, if this was the case, we would all be in trouble... The first and third poster are correct...... there is no reason for you to be "terrified" has you put it.You have to come in sexual contact in the time of an out-break(an open like blister)you and your family are fine.If it was this easy to acquire herpes than no one would leave the house.Just read up and educate your self a little, you would be surprised on how common it is. I'm not to sure if you could catch it by using the same toilet. I would keep lysol in the bathroom at all times and spray often. Just using common chairs in the house shouldn't be a problem. But anyhow that is too many folks in your home. I would tell them nicely to to start looking for a place. And remember lysol lysol lysol. Theres too many behinds on that toilet. The only way you catch it is by mouth or sexual contact. It is not true that you can catch it from a toilet seat. Trust me. I've had it for about 8 years and no one has ever caught it. Even my husband doesn't have it...yet. Make sure they're taking Valtrex every day, though. That prevents them from getting outbreaks. Don't worry about it. That would make me awful uncomfortable living with them. 3 of my family members lost their house and tried to move in with me. I shut them down real quick on that one. I need my space or I go nuts. I don't think that is rude they should have their own place anyways. Say its for space reasons. You CANNOT get herpes from someone unless you are kissing them, performing fellatio or cunningulus, or are having intercourse with the person. |
