Genital herpes/genital warts?

so i found a little bump on my labia majora last year. i went to two different doctors and they told me it was normal. last week i got a fever and the little bump appeared again. this time i made an appointment to a dermatologist so he/she can look at it for the third time. im so scared and nervouse and i been depressed ever since. not knowing what to do if i get a positive for herpes/warts. the last time i had sex was almost two years ago. Im so scared and im really depressed that i cant sleep and i dont want to eat.

I cant talk to any one about this because im scared of what they might think of me so i came to yahoo answers for some support (yeah i know its silly) but its been really hard these couple of days and all i do is go online and research genital herpes and genital warts and get more worried. My doctors appointment is tomorrow and i have been praying and crying. i dont know how to cope if it does become positive. im just really scared sorry this is long :(

You need to calm down!! If the last time you had sex was 2 years ago - you would have seen signs of herpes around that time. It's probably an ingrown hair or something. It happens to women often. It doesn't sound like you have an STD. I think you're making a big "to do" about nothing!! Don't worry!

THANK YOU! i just got the results and it happens to be a cyst. i was really concerned but im relieved!! thank you all! Report Abuse

herpes and gential warts do not usually present as a single bump, but clusters of bumps....herpes/gential warts are blister like

dont sweat it. herpes usually appears in patches, that what the doc told me. had a scare right out of high school. Had unprotected sex and thought i caught the herps. Turns out it was an ingrown hair.

Poor thing, most people tense to show in a few weeks or months, but you haven't done it for 2 years, it might not be herpies.

I don't really know much about either but I think you would have breakouts more than once a year. It would be like once a month.

Get checked!
