Can genital herpes be transmitted through semen? |
i just want to know can it be passed through semen basically NO herpes is transmitted when you genitals or mouth comes into contact with some one who has signs of an out break of herpes. It's not transmitted by body fluids but through skin contact. Not specifically through semen. It's a skin to skin contact kind of infection. But if you are having sex with a man who has genital herpes, even if he wears a condom, transmission of the virus is possible. Condoms lower the risk of getting the virus, but it's not guaranteed. Condoms can help prevent HSV. However, because HSV can be passed from skin-to-skin contact, condoms likely offer less protection against HSV than against most other sexually transmitted infections. You want an honest answer ? No, genital herpes is spread by skin to skin contact and transmitted when it gets into cracks, cuts or sores in the skin on the contacted area. Genital herpes cannot be spread by vaginal fluids or semen. Yes absolutely, including contact with cold sores UH?!?!?!??! DUH! |
