How to tell the difference between genital wart & herpes?

i have one little bump (maybe two - i just shaved so the second may be razor burn) that's been around for 3 months. doesn't itch or burn, no other symptoms.

it's about an inch above my (c)(l)(i)(t) on the skin.... so for a while i thought it may have been an ingrown hair. then i was thinking about it and thought it may be herpes since it wasn't going away and my ex was cheating on me for 3 years before i found out. i asked a question on here a while ago, and someone suggested it may be a genital wart.

it's about 1/4 size of pea.... doesn't bother me unless i touch it.

1) go to any doctor to know 100%
2) in my opinion - it is not herpes! it looks like genital wart! if your husband cheated on you then he has infected you with HPV virus! and HPV virus causes genital warts! they appears only when your immune system is weak! so you MUST build up your immune system! est more healthy food, more vitamins and do more sport activities!
also you need to try some herbal treatment!

Well if it doesn't burn or itch or look infected then it could posibly be genital warts. and they don't hurt or burn.Or it could possibly be a skin tag. So go to a Gyno and see what they say about it. Find a clinic that you can get looked at for free. Possibly like Planned Parenthood or something.

Chances are you have a genital wart. Have you been vaccinated for HPV? If it was herpes, it'd be an open sore that would go away about a weekish later or so.

Herpes look like blisters and genital warts look like warts, cauliflower like.

it could be from shaving but u should go get checked...but being that u dont have insurance jus go 2 a free clinic.sometimes they want a donation but its only 5-10 bucks

This doesn't sound like herpes to me. Herpes usually comes with some itching, burning or tingling sensations. It also causes flu like symptoms (fever and basically feels like your getting the flu), burning when you pee and or trouble peeing. Herpes out breaks also don't usually last for more then 2 weeks. If it's a mild out break though you may not get all of the symptoms as you would in a classic out break of herpes.
You need to get to a doctor and have them test the bump for HPV and herpes. A bunch of strange people don't know your medical history as well as your regular doctor should. Don't be embarrassed about going, doctors have seen it all before.
