Genital herpes symptoms?

I have had herpes for a couple of years and have occasional mild outbreaks but nothing to make me feel unwell. However this time I have a feeling of pressure in my abdomen for 4 days and slightly painful urinating, some sores appeared yesterday. Before the sores came out I thought I had a urinary tract infection which I was going to see the doctor about but now I think these symptoms may just be from the herpes. Does anyone else get prolonged pressure in the abdomen during a herpes outbreak?

I've never experienced that. It could be a urine infection as well. Not sure. Never heard of that happening anyway.

Are you sure there were no sores coming where the urine passes? That would have irritated it.

Probably wind......No cure for it I am afraid. Just gets better and better until you die. Then it stops!

While you have ulcers, it may be painful to urinate. You may also experience pain and tenderness in your genital area until the infection clears. During an initial outbreak, you may have flu-like signs and symptoms, such as headache, muscle aches and fever, as well as swollen lymph nodes in your groin.
