Can genital herpes be spread through clothing like bathing suits or bottoms?

you have some really bad answers here........my good friend has had the herpes virus for many years, he's a guy that got it from an unfaithful wife, but anyway, Herpes is a VIRUS that is ONLY TRANSMITTED through sexual contact.you cannot get it from slight physical contact

No its not likely. The virus dies pretty quick once it leaves the body, but sharing bottoms isn't a good idea unless they have been washed first.
yes it sure can. you should see a doctor if you wore anything from someone with the Herpes. wash those clothese then put them in a dryer and dry them hot for some time before wearing them again
