Are genital herpes blisters painful or painless?

I mean, if you have a blister and you rub against it and squeeze it, does it hurt or is it completely painless, as if squeezing a whitehead pimple?

The vesicles (or blisters) caused by herpes are considered painful. A painless "blister" may be a type of skin cancer, or a sign of syphillis.

extremely painful, the surrounding nerves are painful that are around the sore as well.Not at all like a pimple,
Dude, it hurts like hell...it burns, it stings, and it's very uncomfortable... (trust me...) Don't squeeze it or touch it, be careful when you clean yourself...the pain will be nearly unbearable...
