Anyone had genital herpes and not known about it? |
Can you have it and not know about it? Apparently, the first attack is worse, and subsequent ones are not too bad. Can a first attack have been mistaken for something else such as cystitis? Genuine answers please. never personally had it but did research and a presentation to a group of homeless kids... Herpes in women can go undetected because you can get the sores inside the vagina and up the walls. You need to see a dr. to get them examined. attacks can occur due to stress, hormones, poor immune system, etc.. after you have contracted the STD. You can pass it on to your partner when sores are present and even before they are present. sometimes the skin gets a tingling sensation before a breakout occurs and you are infectious then all the way through till sores break open and are healed. herpes simplex 1 is cold sores, while herpes simplex 2 is genital sores. either can be passed on either way... if you have cold sores and perform oral sex you can give that person genital sores and if a person has genital sores and you perform oral sex on them you can get the sores in your mouth. hope this helps. I suffer from coldsores on my mouth, but have never had genital herpes. i have been told that its pretty much the same thing, painful, but i dont think it can be mistaken for anything else. If you had it, u would know about it! I watched the Tyra banks show today and i seen a outbreak on there and it look like boiling skin but that was a serious case.Seriously go to the health department or even look it up on the net i am sure there is pictures of outbreaks My heart |
