I have genital herpes. If it never comes back can i still give it back to my b/f (gave it to me) or other guys |
Can i go to the doctor with out my parents knowing and the doctor not call them? if i do have it (pretty positive) Can i give it back to my boyfriend? Im pretty sure i got it from a heat sore on his lip. Is that possible? if it doesnt come back though can i still pass it on to other guys? is it something that im gona have to deal with about passing for the rest of my life even if i barely have it && it doesnt come back?? any information would be so helpful. thank you so much. You can pass it to someone else whether you have an outbreak or not (that's how my fiance and I got it!) In fact, according to Valtrex, 70% of people with genital herpes got it from their partner when they were showing no signs or symptoms of the virus, like an outbreak. It's called "shedding", when a person has no physical symptoms of the virus, but, can still pass it on to others. And yes, it is possible for you to have got it from your boyfriend if he were to have gave you oral sex. If a person has a cold sore and gives another person oral sex, it can be spread to that person, causing them to get genital herpes. Herpes simplex virus 1 is typically cold sores, while herpes simplex virus 2 is typically genital herpes. You will always have it, as thee is no cure. Medications on the market only prevent "flare ups", even though it appears to be gone it is still there, and even in this stage it is transferable to another.
