Women with Genital Herpes only? |
I have genital herpes for 10 years and since then I get Yeast Infections. Do You get them to and if you do what do you do to make them go away and if you don't get them please tell me what do you do or eat so you don't get them. I have them and don't go away with nothing. I am this treatment that is not working for nothing, no medicine or natural medicine seems to work. please tell me what you do or eat so you don't get yeast infections. You need to be sure to eat yogurt with live active cultures every day or take acidphillus capsules to help prevent yeast infections. Limit the amount of sugary foods and foods high in carbs that you eat. Be sure to wear only 100% cotton underwear. Check the label as many are not 100% cotton. Do not soak in a tub if you don't have to. Also since you are prone to yeast infections be sure your doc has checked you for diabetes as diabetics are more prone to yeast infections. Ask your doctor if he would ok a tea tree oil douche for you as this can help some people but be sure to get your docs ok before you try this. I insert lacto-bacillus capsules vaginally during an outbreak, and use monistat for three days following at outbreak. RN Genital Herpes has nothing todo with Yeast infections. They are both different. Herpes is a viral infection and there is no cure for it, but it can be treated. Yeast infections are caused by yeast a bacteria and can be treated and cured with anti-biotics and is treatable but not curable. Cut down on foods that are loaded with yeast, such as bagels, beer and most baked goods. Please see a medical doctor for your infections and get them treated as soon as possible. Also do not have any unprotected sexual contact until at least 2 weeks after treatment. I don't think these two are related. Perhaps make sure your underwear is 100% cotton. Try taking L-Lysine! This works wonders with stopping breakouts and I feel it's WAY better than valtrex...you can get it anywhere...wal mart...rite aid....ect. Eat lots of curds. The common treatment for vaginal yeast infection (vaginitis) is anti-fungal suppositories, tablets or creams. If needed, oral anti-fungals are prescribed. If you are pregnant, your doctor will advise you about the treatment. Wear cotton undergarments and avoid douching. Keep the area clean and well washed. Keep the area dry- for example, after taking a swim, change to dry clothing as soon as possible. http://www.doctorgoodskin.com/ds/vaginit... http://www.doctorgoodskin.com |
