Question about genital herpes? |
Is it possible to get genital herpes without sexual intercourse? Just wondering.... There are two types of Herpes Simplex Virus. Both types can cause genital herpes and oral herpes. HSV type 1 usually infects the lips. When the lips are infected sores called fever blisters or cold sores are present. However, HSV type 1 can infect the genital area and produce sores there Kissing and close skin to skin contact without intercourse can pass the virus. Through a direct skin-to-skin contact, people can contract oral herpes (herpes simples virus 1) as easily as they can contract genital herpes through sexual intercourse ( herpes simples virus 2). Through simple face to face contact, the herpes virus can be spread in a manner of seconds from one person to another. sure.. contact without penetration. esp during outbreaks.. just keep your junk wrapped up tight, and stay away fom the shluts. Yes! Just skin to skin contact can give you herpes if that person is infected and the virus is shedding. If someone has a cold sore and gives your oral sex you can get gential herpes that way. Most people do not what to admit this but cold sores are herpes! Cold sores are called herpes simplex 1 and gential herpes are called herpes simplex 2. But that does not matter, they both behave the same way. The only difference is that people with herpes simplex 1 in the genitals experience less outbreaks. o yes , just ask my friend evan yupp i have it. i have to itch my penis every 5 minutes yes you can If you have come into contact with the virus without acutally having sex this is possible. It is quite unlikely but still possible to get the virus from sitting on a toilet seat or the like as the virus does not typically stay alive in these environments. |
