We both have genital herpes. He didn't know he had it & ... Do we still need to take precautions? Absolutely. While you both may have herpes, herpes attacks nerve centers via sexual contact. This means if you are engaged in fellation while he has an outbreak you may spread the herpes to your mouth/throat. and Vice versa. Further this is one STD that you have passed to one another. Unless you both are D/D free and absolutely monagamous with one another - its possible to contract other STD's and spread to your partners. If you don't know 100% on current D/D status or monogamous - you need to be protecting one another. Why start now. I would definitely see a doctor on this one and refrain from enjoying yourselves in the interim period. actually chances are that it's you who passed it on to him, yes still take precautions it could spread on your own body and get worse, see Doc for meds to control flare ups as well Yes,it could lead to more serious things. For what...you both have it. No need. |
