Best at home genital herpes treatments? -- useless opinions are not needed.?

I just got over my first outbreak (which is known to be the worst), & I wanted to find faster and more reliable treatment for it. I ordered a natural oil treatment last time, & even though it worked, it took forever to finally heal & the bottle had already run out. Plus I smelt like a FrEaKiN InSeNcE Stick...Piece of Junk! So I really dont want to keep throwing money out on useless products, so if anyone knows a good treatment that have personally helped your outbreaks, then please send ideas on over.

Also any home remedies and natural cures are a help. When i first got it, i learned a lot from going to websites such as these and was just interested in what ya'll might have to say.

Suppressive medication should work for you. Acyclovir, Valtrex, or Famvir are the most common meds to help suppress outbreaks. Talk to your doctor about a prescription. From what I understand, you can take it only when you have an outbreak, or you can take it daily, depending on how frequent your symptoms are. There is no clinical evidence that natural remedies work for herpes, at least as far as I know. Save your money.

You really should see a Doctor.................You should also be much more careful who you're having genital contact with. I realise that in a relationship, it is possible to catch genital herpes from someone with herpes simplex, but you really do have to be more careful.
Dude, is there really such thing as home remedy treatments for genital warts? I advise you to go to the docor's and get the proper medication.
There is no "Natural" on-line remedies that "cure" genital herpes.Save your money and get to a MD ASAP! It's caused by a VIRUS,it can be treated with anti-viral drugs,symptoms can be kept to a minimum, but not Cured. Please stop your unsafe sex habits now and see your Doctor,or local health department. Go to Wal-mart or any vitamin store and buy some L-Lysine 1,000mg tablets. Taking supplemental L-lysine with vitamin C with bioflavonoids can effectively fight and/or prevent herpes outbreaks. Take 2,000mg daily along with the vitamin C.

Also, L-lysine is very inexpensive. About $4 or $5 at Wal-mart.
Your genital herpes is actually a virus, so no home remedies will work unfortunately. Also, this is something you will have the rest of your life. You can only treat the symptoms, and you may be potentially infective even though you don't have an outbreak. Your best bet is for you to go to a doctor, and let him prescribe you the pills you'll need to help fight the outbreak. You'll be able to take the pills also when you feel an outbreak is coming. Sorry I don't have better news for you. I wish you the best of luck.
