If someone has genital herpes..can they still give blood or plasma?

I am a blood donor, and I do not recall (out of the zillion things that they DO ask in the pre-screening) any questions about herpes.

If you are in the States, call the Red Cross, they should be able to tell you.
Yep. No problemo. Herpes ain't a blood borne disease.
