Question for women with genital herpes or yeast infections ONLY, please?

I have been checked for all STDs except for herpes. I have never had an outbreak, as far as I know, but I hear sometimes there are no outbreaks. Just subtle symptoms.

Well here's the thing---I've been having reoccuring yeast infections for over a year now. At least that's what i THINK they are. I've even been tested for yeast infections at the doctors a few times, and it always comes up positive. But I heard even doctors can mistaken herpes for Yeast infections.

I don't have much itching or pain when I have yeast infections. In fact, practically no itching and definitely no pain. And I also don't have any odor, so I --know its not bv--bacterial vaginosis. And the strangest part---is that there's not even usually a discharge anymore. The white, clumpy stuff kind of clings to the walls now, and I would have to put a finger inside to pull it out.

If you have herpes, do you have these kinds of symptoms?

It could be herpes, you should get tested. I had been getting yeast infections pretty often, nothing painful really.....then the last one, what i thought was a yeast infection, hurt a little bit so I went to the doctor. Turned out to be herpes and a few days later got to be VERY painful. I'd have it checked out just to be safe, and if it is herpes you can hopefully prevent a really bad outbreak! hmm Im not sure I can be of much help, but could you tell your doctor that you suspect herpes and get them to test for it specifically?

I had a time when I was getting yeast infection after yeast infection but it turned out that I was reacting to the condoms we were using at the time. Hope you can get this sorted out
I would def say that you DO NOT have herpes with those symptoms!! Herpes are sores or lesions on your genitals, they do not really produce a discharge I don't think. You probably don't even have an infection at all, that could be regular vaginal discharge that all woman have. Some women just have more discharge than others. If you have no itching associated with it and no smell then I would think that you didn't have an infection at all and that maybe you just more dischargy!
hi there! herpes hurt as F***. If you had herpes you would prefer to burn yourself with a ciggarett between your legs to get the pain away. So if it doesn;t hurt like that, I THINK you should be fine. Im mean fine as it is not herpes. Herpes can give you white blisters with liquid inside. Its is when the blisters burst that you get this terrible pain. So blisters and pain, or you have to take a blood test for herpes. To the yeast, i had yeast for lond time. I tried everything i could, the dr gave me everything thay could. In the end the dr came to the conclusuion that i was a diabetic, typ 1. Yeast likes suger.Suger i the blood/urin gives you yeast between your legs. This could be your problem. good luck!
Own experience
Well i don't have herpes but ive never heard that it can be mistaken for yeast infections. but i've had reoccuring yeast infections but it's from the hormones in my birth control pills. I'm trying to find a better method. if your on birth control it could be that.
