Where do people get Genital Herpes from? |
I know someone who has it and throught that they was been very careful but not to careful could you please help and explain where it comes from are how it accure anyways ? First of all, it doesn't come from "nasty people who have sex with many people". That girl is such a moron. Anyway, you may become infected by someone who is carrying the virus by having sexual relations with them. This also includes oral sex. You've seen people with cold sores, right? If someone has oral sex with another person who has the disease they may contract oral herpes. Same idea with genital herpes. If someone has herpes they may have active outbreaks or they may never have an outbreak in their life. They may not even know they have the virus but they are still able to pass it on. Even if you use protection there is still a chance to contract the disease. There is no cure for herpes. It lies dormant in your spinal cord until it activates, then it rises to the surface of the skin to the spot where the disease was first contracted. It causes painful red sores that usually last for 1-2 weeks. from nasty people that has sex with so many different people Having sex with someone else with genital herpes It is most usually transmitted sexually, but you can get it other ways - like kissing. It isn't curable, so you have to be careful not to passs it on when you have active sores, but it is greatly treatable and you can live with it. See a doctor for complete information and meds. You can get genital herpes usually from your partner when they have no signs or symptoms. Other times you can get them if you sleep around, and some people just don't tell people that they have genital herpes. For the most part though, partners usually get them from their partners while the other has no sign of their first outbreak. If your partner has no symptoms, get him/her to the doctor quick. Even if you are "outbreak" free, you can still pass genital herpes. Plus, Genital Herpes can be treated but NEVER cured. I'm so sorry. Even the very very careful people can pass them. Good Luck and GOD BLESS! You can contract genital herpes by having unprotected sex with someone that has the virus. This is an incurable STD that is highly contagious and no matter how careful you may be, a condom should always be used to avoid catching it. When someone has this virus, they experience "episodes" where the disease becomes more noticeable (such as sores or lesions on their genitals)as well as additional symptoms that affect mood and energy level....usually every 5 to 6 months. Common belief is that the virus is not contagious when the lesions are not present or the person is asymptomatic.....this is untrue....like any virus, the risk of contracting this disease is high if you are sexually active with an individual that has it. You cannot catch this by kissing someone that has it though (unless you are not kissing their mouth..oral sex is extremely risky!!) There are various medications that can be prescribed to keep the outbreak or the "episodes" under control, but as mentioned earlier.....this is a gift that keeps on giving!!! There is no cure!! Be Careful! |
