Can a person get genital herpes in any other way except sexual intercourse with an infected partner?


my boyfriend of 4 years has herpes. i got checked and i havnt got it but he refuses to admit he was with someone else sexuallly to have caught it,and says i was his first time. he tells me that it was just in his blood and he broke out in it one day after we had unprotected sex for the first and last time as we always used protection before that. can virgins have sti's before they start becoming sexually active.
