How long do reoccurent genital herpes infections last in men?

Reoccurring outbreaks can last several days to several weeks. It really depends on a lot of factors, like if they are on medication, or going through a lot of stress.

I have had genital herpes for 6 years. My reoccurring outbreaks tend to last about 5-7 days (taking the medication). Source(s): Personal experience.

If you mean a new breakout it can last from a couple days to a couple weeks it depends on how bad the breakout is. If you mean is herpes curable the answer is no, not yet.
