I think i have genital herpes!!!!! please help!!!?

hi. i think i have genital herpes and i am really scared. more than anything!!!! i have only slept with 4 guys in the past 2 years and i dont know if i got it from one of them or if i gave it to any of them. the symptoms didnt start showing up until i started sleeping with my current boyfriend who i love more than anything. im going down to the local planned parenthood on monday to hopefully get checked out! so if anyone has any advice on genital herpes in general or how to tell my boyfriend that i have it if the test comes back positive. so please help me im really scared!!!!

I was really nervous when I told my boyfriend at the time (now fiance) that I had two incurable STDs - HPV and genital herpes. Most people are pretty understanding about it. I have never had a bad reaction from someone when I told them I had the viruses. Of course they wanted to know everything they could know about it. It's a good idea to learn as much about the virus as you can, that way when they ask you questions about it, you will have a good answer. Genital Herpes is trouble for your sex partner during an outbreak. Dangerous for unborn child during child birth. It acts the same as having a cold sore. Your immune system goes down like when ya have a cold then the outbreak is not far behind.

You should tell him, because like you said it would've been dormant for awhile. herpes shows up like a usual cold sore found around the mouth but it is just in the genital area. it will ooze and form a crusty layer this is called an outbreak if you see this you should take your boyfriend with you, cus in most cases he might have it too and is scared to tell you do to the circumstances of being blamed for infidelity
It would be better if you told your boyfriend your suspicions because he does deserve to know.
