Why L-Lysine for genital herpes? is it the closest thing to a cure? lysine works for h1 an h2 .Its is an amino acid available at health food stores and drugstores.Lysine is in foods and foods that are higher in lysine are recommended as a diet .So i fugure that by taking lysine u up your lysine intske in your diet and this is somehow suppose to help suppress herpes. And for those pple that dont know coldsores are contagious and herpes1 virus.So for everyone that has ever had a coldsore u have herpes1 too and that can also be spread to the genital during oral contact. yes you can also take lysine tablets, this is also good for cold sores you can find it at a health food store There is no cure for herpes. Lysine helps with cold sores in your mouth (aka herpes complex 1). I don't think it helps with genital herpes. There are medications you can take that will help lessen outbreaks. Talk to a doctor. L-Lysine won't help with gential herpes. You will have to live with that for the rest of your life. |
