A person typically breaks out within 2 to 20 days after infection. However, an incredible number of people either never show symptoms, have a delayed onset, or misdiagnose their symptoms. Sometimes a person's symptoms will be so minor that it may look like an ingrown hair, or think you may have accidentally caught yourself in your zipper, never feeling any flu like symptoms.
