Has anyone ever gotten rid of genital herpes permanently? |
Has anyone ever gotten rid of genital herpes permanently? Okay, here is something to think about. My very good friend was diagnosed 4yr ago with genital herpes. Being in a long term relationship she accused him of cheating and left his a**. Now 4 years later she switched gyno doctors and when she went for her annual they tested her for all stds at her request. When the nurse called her with her results she said all tests were negative and my friend went off the wall. Tell me how one doctor test positive (reason for initial testing was due to out break) and another doctor test negative? I know errors happen in lab all the time. Maybe, maybe not an error. Maybe over four years she found the cure and just didn't know it. I know that herpes are forever but it is a story with a happy ending. Too bad for the boyfriend. i dnt think so guy u jus have toi live wiv them and be more carefull who u sleep wiv and make sure u tell all ur sexual apterns before u have sex! and take the right percautions It cannot ever go away. You can decrease symptoms with prescription medication, but it will always be there. No there is no cure. As far as I know, it is completely incurable. well the commercials say that there is no cure, but im sure that there is a possibility of never having an outbreak No. There is currently no cure for herpes, only treatments. It's possible that there are treatments that have long lasting effects between outbreaks, lifestyle choices that decrease the incidence of relapse (low stress, diet, etc.), and there are definitely research labs that are trying to find a true cure... but to date, there is no permanent solution. |
