What is a good treatment for genital herpes besides prescriptions?


I have had this for eight years (simplex1) MY fiancee for 5years. Ihave controlled mine well. He on the other hand has a hard time getting rid of his. He uses his equipment 2 to 3 times aday. so he rubs the skin off easier and it becomes raw and takes for ever! to heal. I use a tea bag for pain. mineral oil and a heating pad on my belly. campho phenique. This doesn't work for him. What else can he try.
