Whats the difference between oral and genital herpes? ..?


does having genital herpes mean u can spread/get oral herpes by having sex/oral?

Yes....the only difference is the location.the herpes part is the same....the way we get genital herpes is thru genital to mouth contact with someone who has oral herpes....so watch out for those cold sores..
if you have genital herpes, you can get it in your mouth by having oral sex.

One is on or in your mouth the other is on your genitalia. Oral is a bit more accepted because people consider it a cold sore. They are both contagious but, are medicated differently.

No, but seriously, the patholgy is the same. The herpes simplex virus is the same no matter where it is on your body. Cold sores are actually the same as genital herpes.
