How can I tell if I have genital herpes? |
Is it a certain age that you can get it, or can you get it at any age? How can I tel if I have it? What are the symptoms? Genital herpes is a very common condition. The symptoms may be so mild that many will miss them. If you suspect genital herpes, you should look for these signs- Women- Pain in your genital area, inner thighs or buttocks, itching in your genital area, inner thighs or buttocks, small red bumps, ulcers or blisters in the genital and anal area. You may have them inside vagina, outer genitalia, anus, buttocks, and in the cervix. Flu like symptoms such as body ache, headache, fever etc. Painful urination Men- Pain in your genital area, inner thighs or buttocks, itching in your genital area, inner thighs or buttocks, small red bumps, ulcers or blisters in the genital and anal area. You may have them inside urethra, on the penis, scrotum, buttocks, inside anus on the thighs. The only sure fire way to know is to go a doctor and get tested for all stds. If you have weeping sores and bumps in your genital area, and they sting. They will be reddish to clear to the sight. If you believe you have genital herpes go to the doctor at once. Any age can get them and you have to or should stop all your sexual activity. Period..... Go see a doctor and he or she will tell you all the good and bad things that will change your life. you can get it at any age though it would be almost always be found in the sexually active age group... after all it is a sexually trasmitted disease. the most common symptom of having genital herpes is a painless ulcer on the genitalia (on the penis or on the labia of the females). herpes is transmissible. you have to tell your sexual partners that you have herpes so that all of you can get tested and treated. treatment is easy... you just get penicillin shots. go and consult with your doctor. again... the lesions of herpes are painLESS... no pain or sting nor whatsoever. If you ever had a cold sore you will know what it feels like. although genital herpes is a different strand the two are related. Everyone else its right you should see a doctor and stop having sex until you get treated specially if you have open sores. Herpes is very contagious and even though it is easily treated there is no cure. Antibiotics wouldn't do any good |
