What does it look like if a male has signs of genital herpes? |
What does it look like if a male has signs of genital herpes? Okay I have no idea what the first guy is talking about....but to answer your question.... Most people have no signs or symptoms of the virus. The only physical way to tell if someone has the virus is if they are having an outbreak. Remember, genital herpes can be spread whether the person is having an outbreak or not. Symptoms in males can include: *Painful, itchy blisters on the penis. Blisters may also appear on the anus, buttocks, thighs, or scrotum, either alone or in clusters. They may be barely noticeable or as large as a coin. *Blisters that break and become shallow, painful, oozing sores. *Swollen and tender lymph nodes in the groin. * Abnormal urethral discharge. Source(s): Personal experience. I have had genital herpes for over 5 years. There are lesions that look like open blisters along the shaft and head of the penis. Med Tech like nasty infected rug burn lol yuck lol If a male has genital herpes, you will often see a rash or tiny little open blisters or sores on his shaft. Please keep in mind that most genital herpes is transmitted to their partner when there are no signs symptoms of this condition. Meaning just because you don't see anything doesn't mean your partner doesn't have an STD. Please always use a condom with your partner when you are not sure of their sexually history. You and your partner could also visit your local clinic, doctor and be tested for STDs including Herpes. |
