When can I have sex again after my initial outbreak of genital herpes? |
I found out I have herpes about three weeks ago. I believe I contracted it from being date raped about 6 months ago, but I'm really not sure. My current boyfriend and soon to be fiance probably has it now too, but he hasn't had an outbreak. Anyways, all my sores are healed, but I'm still really tender down there. We thought since I was healed up and done with my Acyclovir that we could have sex. Well, basically it wasn't enjoyable for me. I feel like my clitoris has lost feeling, and really nothing that he was doing felt good. Is it going to be like that forever? Or am I just not healed up all the way? don't worry there is hope after the first year my outbreaks have stoppped and i am very lucky to have a man that understands we are now married and it doesn't rule my life although it is constantly on my mind but you have to live with it you should not have intercourse for about four weeks untill you have finished the acyclovir and are clear i hope your man is understanding and you are very happy together.some people these things happen to even if they are carefull!!!!!!!! please u cant have sex anymore there is no such thing as a cure for herpes please don't spread std into the public anymore then it is think of your self as a weapon a bio-weapon capable of making peoples lives miserable so no more sex never ..if not ull spread it Herpes is forever girl sorry to tell you the bad news. However you can use valtrex to help from transmitting. And you definitly should use protection until you are married and sure you are going to be with this person FOREVER!!! And by the valtrex does not cure you it just gives your partner a 80% chance of not contracting. |
