What would you do if after two months your boyfriend told you he had genital herpes?

First off give him credit for telling you. Odds are that the person that gave it to him didn't tell him. There are many ways to prevent transmitting HSV2. Always have protected sex and make sure to abstain when he is having an outbreak. There is also a daily antiviral on the market now called Valtrex. His doctor can prescribe this and it will drastically cut down on the outbreaks. Some people don't have outbreaks often enough to take antivirals. It depends from person to person.

Remember also that it is possible to carry the virus and pass it to other people without knowing you have it. Approximately 33%of the population are carriers and don't even know it. Women can have lesions on their cervix and not know it.

It took alot of guts to tell you that he has this. Some people will just turn and run fast. If you really care about him talk to him, tell him you appreciate him caring about you enough to tell you....remember....he didn't have to.

If you truly care about him this is not a big deal. Again, there are several ways to prevent you from contracting it.

Ask him when he found out, and why he didn't tell you sooner. Then go to a doctor and have yourself tested.
Go to the doctor and get tested then start using condoms. You may be lucky and haven't gotten it.
break up then go get tested.

Depending if you had already slept with him. If you have then I would ditch him b/c he should of told you in the beginning and is a jerk for not telling you. If you havent then I would talk about things and def take things slow for a while till you see if this is something you want to invest time in or not.
Did he just find out, or did he know all along? If he knew all along, I'd say dump him- even if he claims he was "afraid" to tell you because he cares about you- how can you trust him? But, if he just recently found out, I'd MAYBE cut him some slack depending upon his honesty in other areas.
